In 1993 I became an Amsoil dealer. I was, at that time, the mechanic at a prominent golf course in Windermere, Florida. We started using Amsoil products there because of issues we had keeping the proper petroleum oil 2 cycle mix with the proper machine, even though they were well marked. 25:1 with the machine needing the 25:1 mix, and 35:1 and 50:1 with their respective machines. When the correct mix does not go out with the correct machine, you can blow an engine. And we did. String trimmers and stick edgers are expensive. So my boss, at the time, told me to get 2 cases of Amsoil 2 stroke oil ordered. I got out the yellow pages and found a dealer. Now I could mix my 2 cycle oil at 100:1 and use it in any 2 cycle machine. I never blew another engine. I then tried Amsoil 4 stroke oil in my other machines and stopped having to rebuild engines.
When the dealer I bought my Amsoil from asked if I might want to become a dealer, I thought about it awhile, and decided to try it.
Since then I have graduated from Amsoil sponsored schools, attended many corporate training meetings, and many regional meetings, learning a lot along the way. I am T-1 certified and have sponsored many retail and commercial accounts, as well as dealers and preferred customers.
If you contact me I will do all I can to help you.
